Stand With Crypto, the advocacy group launched by Coinbase in 2023, has officially endorsed 32 incumbent members of the U.S. House of Representatives as they gear up for the November 2026 midterm elections.

Every lawmaker on this list has previously voted in favor of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, commonly known as the CLARITY Act, which aims to establish clear federal regulations for digital assets and delineate the roles of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

The endorsements reflect a bipartisan effort, featuring both Republicans and Democrats. Notable endorsements include Republicans such as Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, and Warren Davidson, alongside Democrats like Ritchie Torres, Jim Costa, and Josh Gottheimer. Lawmakers from competitive districts, including Arizona’s Juan Ciscomani and Pennsylvania’s Brian Fitzpatrick, are also on the list.

Tom Emmer, serving as House Majority Whip, and Glenn “GT” Thompson, who chairs the House Agriculture Committee, are among the key figures supporting this initiative. Bryan Steil leads the digital assets subcommittee within the House Financial Services Committee, further emphasizing the legislative commitment to advancing crypto regulations.

CLARITY Act Stalled in the Senate

While the CLARITY Act successfully passed through the House, it has yet to gain traction in the Senate, where disagreements over crucial provisions have led to months of stalled negotiations. This continued impasse underscores the importance of Stand With Crypto’s endorsements, which aim to secure the re-election of supportive lawmakers and ramp up pressure on the Senate to take action.

In addition to the CLARITY Act, other significant legislative efforts are underway. Steven Horsford introduced the bipartisan PARITY Act this year, while Bill Huizenga has cosponsored both the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Warren Davidson introduced the Bitcoin for America Act last year, highlighting the growing legislative landscape surrounding digital assets.

    Increasing Political Spending in Crypto

Stand With Crypto claims to have more than 3 million registered advocates across the U.S. According to Executive Director Mason Lynaugh, the group’s focus has shifted from just proving the existence of crypto voters to showcasing their organizing power and influence.

“In 2024 we were very much proving that the crypto voter is real. In 2026 we’re very much showing that we have the organizing capacity and that our advocates are a true voting bloc that can move the needle,” said Lynaugh.

While the group’s endorsements do not come with direct campaign contributions, lawmakers who receive high ratings from Stand With Crypto often attract financial backing from industry-supported super PACs. The Fairshake super PAC, a leading entity in crypto political spending, has announced it has $122 million earmarked for the upcoming elections, having already supported 49 winning candidates during the primaries.

In total, crypto political spending for the 2026 election cycle is approaching $200 million across all industry-backed groups, a significant increase from the roughly $170 million spent during the 2024 elections.

As the election date draws closer, Stand With Crypto plans to announce Senate endorsements and selections for non-incumbent candidates, further solidifying its role in shaping the future of cryptocurrency legislation in the U.S.
